Arnett McClain

Arnett has 30 year successful track record in a variety of Business Development and Account Management capacities. Currently as Business Development Manager for Global Commerce and Services (GCS), his focus is on marketing to the Federal Government (Civilian, DOD, and Intelligence Community). Prior to working at GCS Arnett was the Government Marketing Manager at Lake Research Partners (LRP) were he led LRP’s efforts to establish and grow its Government Practice. Arnett has held senior account management post with other dynamic organizations including ID Systems, Digital Equipment Corp and Compaq. Arnett has a BS from the University of District of Columbia – Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, and MS work at Georgetown University.

David Harmon

Project Manager supporting NASA Programs

David joined GCS in 2017 as a Project Manager supporting NASA programs. He is an accomplished executive with 25 years of experience in program, project and contract transition management. He has demonstrated excellence in operations management, financial and human resources management. David has managed service delivery for a wide variety of Federal, State and Local government organizations. He combines the management and technical aptitude with proven customer relationship management skills to manage GCS programs and projects. David is a trained PMP professional and is ITIL and Cloud certified. He was recognized in 2016 by the NASA AMES Contracting Council for Outstanding Subcontractor and Service Excellence.

Lisa Johnson, PhD.
Operations Manager
Lisa
joined Global Commerce and Services in 2013 as the Operations Manager.  She has 10+ years of management and recruiting experience from an Information Technology Firm and Educational Institution. She has developed experience in HR initiatives including policy development, compensation, performance management, recruiting, compliance reporting, HRIS implementations, HR workflow development, training and development, and benefits administration. 

Ms. Johnson has a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Northcentral University, an MBA in Human Resources Management and a BS in Management with honors from University of Phoenix. She completed her Human Resource Certification with Tulane University Continuing Education.  Ms. Johnson is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and NOLA-SHRM New Orleans, Louisiana Society for Human Resources Association.

Joaneane A. Smith
President and CEO
Joaneane
is the President and CEO of Global Commerce and Services, LLC (GCS). She has more than 20 years experience in management consulting and information systems. Ms. Smith has traveled across the country implementing PeopleSoft for some of the country’s largest corporations and government agencies, including Department of Navy, Department of Army,  Smurfit-Stone Container, and University of Rochester to integrate technology solutions and services. She was awarded Top Achiever for Outstanding Performance and Achievements and also received the Star Performer Award. At the same time, she has completed successful IT engagements for small, medium, and large-sized businesses throughout the country. Ms. Smith is motivated, persistent and passionate as a small business owner.
